I'll tell you what I've told everyone who's made this complaint. There are also, new added ways to make ISK! Nihilist space if you're in a corp/alliance that does PVE, and Relic and Data sites for the solo Explorers out there like myself! These are good ways to make ISK, but they carry risk as well. If you want to run missions safely, report to highsec, where missions are practically AFK, with no threat of intrusion by pvp players. I still run missions in Lowsec, but it carries the proper danger factor now. It was to get rid of the ISK sink, botting, and correct the danger level in Lowsec. Go back and look at the weekly ban notice reports, and you can see they were definitely botting the AFK ISK. They never acknowledged it publicly, but the ban numbers don't lie. The devs stated that they wanted Lowsec to be more dangerous, as originally intended. PVP was dead in Lowsec, making Lowsec completely safe, when it isn't supposed to be. It was an ISK faucet, with no ISK sink.Īnother reason was dwindling Lowsec activity. The most likely reason was the effects the mechanic had on the market. Possible, but not likely the main reason. The game has made a significant change, you should make some as well. Sometime people want to have some brain dead fun.Īccurate. There were no reason to do anomalies when storylines were infinitely more profitable and safer.Īlso, It gave a tool for players to hid the game from bots. (Many null sec corps had it money making coming from storylines 24/7 and with scanning these people went back to null, which makes the game healthier imo). It also eclipsed other contents which was hiding a large portion of the populace from PVP. It actually takes almost four times less grind to pay for omega now than it did before. The market was in a unhealthy inflation and is in a much better state now. The storylines were injecting a insane amount of isk into the game without risk. NE does a lot of stuff to take money out of our wallets, but this one wasn't. The reason I don't play Wild Rift is because I had to drop 3 out 5 games because RL called out lol But, with news encounters being in HS, the new arena mode (15 minutes matches where you don't lose your ships) and scanning, the game has never being more friendly to small burst sessions. I'm guessing I'm not the only person that doesn't have time to dedicate full attention to the game. Those hardly take more than 15 minutes anyway.Īlso, the new hacking sites are incredibly pick up and play friendly. You can farm most of the pre-req missions in a safe space and hide in a bathroom break to pay attention to the gold mission. With a recent change, all non-gold news encounter from T7 or lower are now placed in high-sec space. ![]() While I know some people, especially multiboxers, that do some really unexpectedly high income from this, you can still make a decent isk with news encounters and selling the story books. So this has basically left me with nothing but mining in highsec. I know most people are going to reply to this with some form of "it makes the game more interesting" but that's the problem, sometime people want to have some brain dead fun. I'm probably safer with my alliance in null than I am in missions now. ![]() ![]() Honestly the only reason I can see to do this is to sell more plexs by PvE players loosing ships to PvP players. It's honestly pretty much ruined eve for me. I absolutely love eve but unfortunately I don't have the ability to pay 100% attention to my phone. But to my surprise I can now be scanned down well doing lowsec story missions. I've been inactive the past few months with moving and another child on the way and I just finally got a few free minutes to half pay attention to the game. I'm not here to whine I'm curious if anyone else feels the same.
